1. What is the COUNTBLANK Function?

The COUNTBLANK function can be used to count the number of cells that are blank such that not numbers, text, logical values, error values, and empty text (“”).


2. What is the Syntax?

=COUNTBLANK(range)

  • range = [Required] range within which you want to count.

Note :

  • Cells that contain numbers, text, logical values, error values will not be counted.
  • Cells containing empty text (“”) will be counted.
